SunChips introduces biodegradable bags PDF E-mail
( 1 Vote )
Written by: Jazzking2001
On my latest trip to Walmart, i ran across a new SunChips bag. The new bags say that they are now 100% biodegradable. According to their press release:

PLA is made from lactic acid. Lactic acid is made from dextrose by fermentation. Dextrose is made from starch and starch is made from carbon dioxide and water. Because it’s made with plants that grow annually instead of petroleum (which takes millions of years to form) the impact on greenhouse gases is much lower.

FDA requests more funding PDF E-mail

Written by: Jazzking2001
Well, like any good American, i hate it when any part of the government asks for even more money so that they can do their jobs. However given what has happened in the last few years, in most part whose blame lies with the FDA, i think that asking for more money and using it to "upgrade" how thing are done by the FDA is a good thing.

Valve's PSN Comments Disgusting: Steam PS3 Campaign Opens PDF E-mail
( 26 Votes )
Written by: darkpower

Only a few days after Gearbox's Randy Pitchford made comments about how Valve's stubbornness about PS3 development is only an excuse, it seems like Valve's answer to my question of whether they would prove either Randy or HipHopGamer right seems to sadly be the former answer.

360 Fanboys Let Microsoft Get Away With Too Much PDF E-mail
( 62 Votes )
Written by: darkpower

People complain about PS3 fanboys all the time. That much is a given. Whether or not it is fair that they do so, it's what goes on in the media. Hell, we had Jim Sterling use the age old “SDF” to describe them in one article (hey Jim, you do know sonydefenseforce.com was made by the Wii60.com owner to parody Sony fanboys, right? And he still denies having anything to do with it to this day, right? Not like Rob Foor even does that good of a job at parodying them, anyway.)

For all those wondering why there is no x-play review of Uncharted 2 on Metacritic, I now have the answer you’ve been searching for.

Written by: darkpower
During the Chet Faliszek-gate that transpired a few days ago, there was some controversy surrounding people that were condemning Chet for the disparaging and uncalled for comments about the PSN community. They were saying that he was taken "out of context", and that he was really only criticizing the service itself, not its users.
